INTRODUCTION
Air force Naval Housing Board Cater for the needs of serving and
retired Air Force and Naval personnel and their widows through self
financing housing schemes. The site of this project is located off
the proposed Mussorie Bye Pass on an elevated plateau surrounded by
a Reserved Sal forest.
SILVER HEIGHTS is an address
where luxury and nature are in close harmony, a place far from the
madding crowd. The location has the benefit of extensive green cover
all around and is therefore free of dust, smoke and pollution to
keep you in good health. It is approximately 5 km from the Indian
Military Academy.
124 plots of a larger colony are being
developed for Air Force and Naval personnel. Remaining plots are
already owned by other members from the civil fraternity. AFNHB
allottees will have to become part of the existing society and
maintenance of the entire complex shall be looked after by residents
of entire colony.
The surrounding area boasts of good
educational, health and recreational facilities like Law College,
Fun and Food Kingdom and other professional institutions in addition
to the facilities being provided by the IMA to the members of the
forces.
The site has been exploited
architecturally to its fullest extent to achieve the maximum
aesthetic output and to provide with other basic amenities.
The open spaces (Parks) will provide
enough breathing space and useful for many other leisure activities.
A few shops catering to the daily needs of the residents have been
provided. A health club is also being planned within the complex. |
